Recently, I tried knitting and crochet. Crochet wasn't successful yet, so nothing is coming, though knitting is a winner. I'm currently making some bows and I'll probably make Mio arm warmer since I have the yarn for it. So I can add simple things knitted and cute things. I'll post picture whenever it's finish. So anyone wants a bow they'll be between 10$ and 20$ depending on the size. Also, my photoshoot for CLAMP on the Saturday is official, so I hope to have a lot of people over there. I'll be starting my cosplays soon, I'm still waiting for some fabric, but I don't think they'll be that difficult. So, yeah that's pretty much it. Happy Easter everyone!
For the first time in my life, I am going to host a photoshoot for Clamp characters at Anime North 2013. I thought I could change my convention life a little bit. so anyone that wants to come, it's free and will be fun.
As for my cosplay in my last list, some friends told me to choose the one with the candles, but in the end I can't make it because of lack of material in my region. I thought of another one, but yet I have to think about it. Thanks to my friends for their help. So, I decided to stop procrastinating and start my cosplay for next conventions. I will try to work on them at least four times a week unless I have to much projects to finish for university. I know how important is to have a life, so I thought that cosplay is part of my exterior life, the life that doesn't concern my professionnal life. Here I am, starting. I've got almost all my fabric. Waiting for some to arrive and I need to buy some trims, but I can start and I hope to finish them before the convention and without anything to modify like all my cosplay up till now. I find this difficult since completing something is kind of something I don't do in every aspects of my life, so why not start while I have the motivation. For my third cosplay for AnimeNorth, I have been looking at all the ones that I want to do, and yet I don't know what to do. I want to go with a Sakura Kinomoto one, but the version is yet to be found. Which one would be best: Sakura in her pink dress with what looks like cherry blossom petals, with the candles from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle or the cute little blue dress. I take suggestion also. On another note, is there anybody that recommends K project anime? I really want to watch it because of pictures and cosplays I see, but I don't know if I should. I know I have some anime to catch up, but I don't remeber where I was since I changed my computer because the other died, so I think I'll just go with one seires at the time and really finish it regardless if there are others that I want to finish it. So guys, if anyone reads this, can anyone tell what they think? You can even suggest some titles, I love having choice.
Friendship is a concept difficult to obtain for many people. Whenever you think you understand how it works, it comes back at you with pain. Yet, it is a circle and with keep on making the same mistakes again and again. In the cosplay community, we tend to make more friends since we can be ourselves and we find people with the same interest. Even so, pain from a lost friendship is just lurking around, ready to get you anytime. So, I thought I could give some advice base on my own experience.
I have never been the person with friends before university. I was a lonely person, rejected by my classmates because I am different. But, I found a hobby that helped me coming out of my shell and making friends with the same hobby: cosplay. I learned a lot from them, but I also lost quite some too because of jealousy and others things I don't know how to say. I don't think cosplay is the reason you can loose friends, but when there is competition between two people, it never comes to something beautiful and peaceful. My past experience are dark. I never had friends that stayed. Maybe it was me, maybe it was them, but nonetheless, we argued on many things and they were all related to cosplay. So I figured that some subjects shouldn't be talked and you should say what you really think of them before anything happens. I don't think it's impossible to make friends in the cosplay community, but communication is the only way to have a safe trip in this journey. And remember one thing: the only real friends are the one that knows you without asking everything and doing things that might upset you. Good luck to beginners and continue making friends!!! Since spring break is almost over already, I thought I could choose my cosplays for AnimeNorth 2013 and start them. Since I couldn't go buy fabrics, I started with some accessories. Here it is. Not saying what it is from. I have to keep it a secret from some people. I hope everyone has a great time whenever is your spring break.
Spring break!!! Since I got a full week off from university, all I can think is start my cosplays for AnimeNorth and finish my cosplay for Nadeshicon. Though I am not sure what to do for AnimeNorth. I was thinking one Sakura either from Cardcaptor or Tsubasa, Esther from Trinity Blod and Petsha from Dream of Doll. But then I figured I could do some other cosplays, but I don't which ones to do. I have to many in my list and not so much budget. If anyone out there could help, it would be really appreciated. Other than starting cosplay, I still have some homeworks to do and projects to finish for next week. What are you all doing during Spring Break?
